Fiery hot peppers and Blessed Rainy Day

The NY Times couldn’t have realized this when it ran this story on red hot peppers, but Thursday the Bhutanese (who eat those red hot peppers for breakfast lunch and dinner) celebrate the harvest season with their holiday Blessed Rainy Day. It’s also to mark the end of monsoon season, but I hear it’s awful wet there right now…
